Wind energy is a renewable energy source of wind energy.

The wind is formed because the sun does not heat the earth evenly, resulting in air movement. Kinetic energy can be used to rotate some turbines that can generate electricity. Some turbines can produce 5 megawatts, but it requires wind speeds of about 5.5 meters per second or 20 kilometers per hour. Few areas of the Earth have these wind speeds, but stronger winds can be found at higher altitudes and in marine areas. Most turbines produce energy in 25% of the time, a percentage that rises during strong winds in winter.
